Amazon Rainforest Fundraiser: Yoga Class via Zoom

Dear Yogis & Friends,
For the month of May, I have created three pop-up yoga classes via zoom, with the intention to raise donations toward the Amazon Watch non-profit organization, for protection of the Amazon rainforest and our climate in solidarity with Indigenous peoples.
Amazon Watch is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 to protect the rainforest and advance the rights of Indigenous peoples in the Amazon Basin in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. This organization works in solidarity with Indigenous and environmental organizations in campaigns for human rights, corporate accountability, and the preservation of the Amazon’s ecological systems.
Amazon Watch is building on more than 25 years of work to protect the Amazon rainforest and defend the rights, lives, and territories of Indigenous peoples. Their commitment to work in solidarity with Indigenous peoples and a growing global movement calling for urgent action to permanently protect the Amazon, defend the defenders, and advance climate justice.
100% of proceeds for these classes will go to the Amazon Watch.
As we know, through the practice of yoga, we can make powerful shifts; opening our body, mind and heart through movement with intention. These 'movement prayers' as I like to call them create a healing ripple effect, for our own wellbeing, extending into our communities and this world. I want to thank you all for every time you step on the mat to do this inner work, because it matters more than ever.
My heart is telling me that through coming together for this important cause, that we can make an impact, even if small for now, to do what we can and help support the Amazon rainforest.
Through open hearts and open minds, may our lives be a moving prayer, finding gratitude for all we have, and giving in the ways that we can.

PRE-REGISTRATION:
Only through pre-registration, you will be able to join this class. A link to the Zoom class will be emailed to you the day of class. (Registration will end by 9am on Monday).

You can either donate directly to Amazon Watch (amazonwatch.org/donate) or send to me via Paypal/Zelle/Venmo, and I will forward your donation there.
