WINTER SOLSTICE
RESTORATIVE YOGA + SOUND BATH
with Lisa Devi & Lisa Pickert
December 17 at 6:30PM | Yogaview, Chicago
Sound Healing (Nada Yoga) frequency vibration helps to shift our state of being (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually) back to our natural state of harmony. This is frequency medicine, bringing a vibrational massage all the way down to the cellular level to unwind the mind and bring inner peace. Restorative yoga helps to relieve stress by taking the practitioner into a deep state of relaxation utilizing props and longer holds in supported poses. Restorative asana stimulates and soothes the internal organs, calms the central nervous system by deactivating the "flight or flight" responses, and improves concentration.
Spend a Friday evening bathed in healing vibrations and supported by props and good company. Through the sound journey, Lisa Devi creates an evolving soundscape of crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, Native American flute, vocal mantra meditation, harps, chimes, and many other instruments. We will welcome the winter solstice together, and you will leave feeling calm and grounded.

Lisa Pickert completed her teacher trainings at yogaview, and has been teaching yoga in Chicago for over a decade. As the studio co-manager, she considers yogaview to be her yoga home, and home away from home. Lisa's classes focus on the science behind the practice, how to best serve the body and the nervous system. As that changes each day, the practice of yoga then becomes a practice of listening, adaptation, and feedback from one's self. Lisa believes yoga offers union and healing that stretches beyond the mat. Lpickertyoga.com
